SIPP Cafe

SIPP is one of Hampton Streets most popular and favourite cafes, located on the corner of Service Street right near the railway line.

Owner Naomi Westcott saw a great opportunity when this primo corner location in Hampton Street became available in late 2012, allbeit, crying out for much TLC. Naomi embarked on what she envisaged would be a quick, painless reno… much hard work and some months later… SIPP was launched! Completely refurbished kitchen, brand spanking new ‘industrial vintage’ rear courtyard, upstairs function room and corporate facilities, as well as cafe seating for 70+.

SIPP is a breakfast and lunch offering Cafe… catering to local mums and gym groups (can we say yummy mummies?), local families, local business owners (delighted to have a cool lunch and breakfast offer close by), and really, anyone who likes good coffee and good food. SIPP is very much part of the community and supports local groups such as Hampton Bowling club and Hampton Kindergarten.

SIPP’s focus is on fresh, seasonal produce. Shepparton Free range eggs, Atomic blend coffee (ground on premises), Castlemaine bacon, local fruit and veg from Hampton Street Market, and meats from South City Meats in Hampton street. SIPP is also the exclusive Empire Bakery outlet (formerly Browns) delivering fresh daily baked pastries and delicious crusty bread.

There’s no duds on the menu, everything that’s done, is done well. Try the Egyptian Eggs with home made beetroot relish, or equally you can’t go wrong with the delicious Avocado Smash. Fresh squeezed Juices are a speciality try the ‘Rejuvenator’ or the ‘SIPP Fantasy’ (passion fruit and oranges). As its getting colder, SIPP cooks up awesome homemade soups, changing daily.

The concept behind SIPP was to offer a cool, homely style hang out, good value cafe and reconnect with Naomi’s foodie roots. A chef by trade, Naomi’s passion for food explains SIPP’s emphasis on home sourced product. Naomi has earnt her stripes cooking in kitchens from France (Courchel in the French alps), Spain (Majorca) to Adelaide, Yarrawonga, and most recently operating a 120 seater restaurant in Albury Wodonga. The experience at SIPP is friendly the minute you walk in, staff are young and bouncy, Ryan at front of house always has a smile to greet customers.
